Overview

Jellyseerr is a media request manager for Plex and Jellyfin, a fork of Overseerr adapted to work with both platforms. It lets your users (family, friends) request movies and shows from a modern interface.

The flow is automated: a user searches for a movie in Jellyseerr, clicks 'Request', Jellyseerr sends the request to Radarr which downloads the movie, and as soon as it's available, the user receives a notification to watch it in Plex or Jellyfin.

It's the missing link between your library and your users' expectations: no more 'can you download this movie?' DMs, everything is handled cleanly with validation, quotas, and history.

Jellyseerr or Overseerr? expand_more
Jellyseerr is a fork of Overseerr that adds Jellyfin support on top of Plex. If you use Jellyfin or both platforms, Jellyseerr is the best choice. For Plex only, both are equivalent.
Can I manually approve each request? expand_more
Yes, per user or globally. You can also configure auto-approval for trusted users and leave others in moderation.
How do my users create an account? expand_more
Two methods: either they log in with their existing Plex/Jellyfin account, or you create a local account for them in Jellyseerr. Permissions are managed individually.
