Overview

Immich is the self-hosted alternative to Google Photos and iCloud Photos. Automatic backup from your smartphone (iOS and Android), organization by date, location, faces, albums, without any photo ever leaving your seedbox.

The mobile app is designed to replace Google Photos in daily use: instant launch, smooth scrolling through tens of thousands of shots, album sharing, background backup. On-the-fly compression for previews, originals kept intact.

Facial recognition and object search (dog, beach, car, receipt...) run locally on the machine. No data sent to any external service, no analysis of your data for advertising. Your photos stay yours.
