Overview

Lidarr is your personal assistant for music. You tell it which artists you follow, it continuously monitors the trackers and grabs every new album as soon as a release of sufficient quality appears.

No more manual searches at every release. You add an artist once, and Lidarr takes care of their entire discography: albums already out as well as new ones, as they arrive.

Files are renamed, sorted by artist and album, with cover art and metadata fetched automatically. Your music folder stays tidy, with no sorting by hand.

How do I add artists to Lidarr? expand_more
Through the web interface: you search for an artist by name, add them, then choose to follow their entire discography or only new releases. You can also import lists from MusicBrainz, Last.fm or Spotify.
Does Lidarr handle FLAC and high quality? expand_more
Yes. You set a quality profile (FLAC, MP3 320, etc.) and Lidarr only grabs what matches. It can also replace an existing file with a better version as soon as it becomes available.
Is there anything to configure after installation? expand_more
No. Lidarr arrives preconfigured with Prowlarr and your download client, so you can add artists right away. Advanced settings remain accessible if you want to fine-tune things.
