Overview
Deluge is an open-source BitTorrent client designed for users who want to customize every aspect of their downloads. Its modular architecture lets you enable only the features you need via a very rich plugin system.
Developed in Python since 2006, Deluge runs in client/server mode: the daemon runs permanently on your seedbox, and you control it via the web interface (WebUI) or desktop clients. This separation makes it light and stable.
It is the preferred choice for tinkerers who want to automate specific workflows (auto-add of folders, renaming on rules, moving after upload, etc.) thanks to its mature plugin ecosystem.
